NRMD final words

NRMD Final Statement
So for my final statement about this Rwanda Debate let me just start by saying to the Interahamwe, yesterday I did not get a chance to respond to your statement saying “you got cut off from the government then you became the government so how do you explain this” in response to what we said. For the one thousandth time we stated we were not the ones on the radio saying kill or be killed we were the government at the time, we got cut off from our people therefore it couldn’t have been us talking to you on the radio. Not to mention you yourselves had an article where you circled the information saying you were the ones talking to Hutus saying its kill or be killed so that contradicts yourself, it’s no wonder in the debate I questioned the interahamwe mental state.
The US still Denys that they didn’t have business in Rwanda before or during all this but I have proof stating that before the genocide in Rwanda that the US governments was sending food supplies over to Rwanda the fore you did have business there, and the only I can think of why you wouldn’t come to our aid is because you figured the more dead, the less you have to feed I asked you to prove me wrong but you failed to do so yesterday.
To the Belgium’s you said it was European law to put people who looked more European than others as a higher class, for one can I see this law and for two have you forgotten morals. The RPF claims they were helping their so called people, but by cutting us off from our people you made it a more dangerous place because we could not help our citizens so explain to me how you try to matain innocence in this.
To the French, first of you don’t take credit for anything. You honestly cannot sit there and believe you’re not guilty in any way. You are accused rightly of raping Tutsi women. And you try to say that you didn’t help the interahamwe but you had control over our military when we were cut off and they had control over the interahamwe so please show me proof that you had no contact with them and I would actually believe you.
Over all I believe that our group did very well with responding and questioning other and we had good proof and resources. We were well put together and carried ourselves well.

  1. interahamwe- OK, firstly the article stated that we said to "kill or be killed", it was referencing that if we didn't kill then we would be killed, probably by you, as by the chain of command if you gave an order we would follow. The article also said we "said" so i find it safe to assume we were using word of mouth to protect our friends and families. you had control of the radio. and lastly if you were referring to our group then we were in a perfectly good state of mind thank-you-very-much, but if you were referring to the actual interahamwe, then we will admit to not being in a proper state of mind as we were drugged up and drunk on beer and tequila most of the time.

  2. Fourth sentence in the second to last paragragh fully admits that you were in control of the Interahamwe.

  4. you just stated that you were "drugged up and drunk on beer and tequila most of the time." That clearly shows how much you really cared about the Rwanda genocide. You sat back and got drunk while expecting the rest of the world to clean up your mess.

  5. I would like to see the article that says that we were sending food supply into Rwanda before the genocide. Also the United States did send help into Rwanda. It is not our fault that the genocide ended before our help could be implimented. And the cause of delay for our help was due to confusion and road blocks set up by other parts of the government that had to be solved before we could actually get approval to send any help at all.
