Rwanda Debate Reflection

First off I think that the debate went very well yesterday. All the groups seemed well prepared for the debate and I don’t think any group dominated over the other. I thought the Belgians did very well on defending themselves and the waffles were a definite positive. As our group the Interhamwe I thought we were doing very well in the debate until one of our articles actually back fired on us and I think it might have cost us winning the debate. Also the UN, everybody was trying to attack them but even though they pulled all their troops out which everybody hated they still did well, and it didn’t help when Mason totally burned us with our own article.

At the beginning of the debate nobody was talking at first but then as the time went on the debate actually got very intense in some of the attacking groups were doing and I think people will be talking about this debate for a while to come, because these are the things that make people talk for a while to come.
