Debate Reflection

I thought that the debate last week went very well; while some groups floundered, others did very well. While preparing for the debate I didn’t fully understand what it would be like and how much information we would really need to know, but as the debate went on I truly realized how much work we really did put into our research and how the debate could not have proceeded as it did without such research. I expected the debate to be more vicious and unstructured but as the debate went on I saw that without the firm structure we would all be at each other’s throats. Many times during the debate I found it funny how people would try and defend themselves but end up just dig themselves a bigger hole. I think that my group, Fance, did a very good job and deflecting any allegations made against us and the debate was a great all around learning experience.
