MRND. - ally laurentius.

Closing Statement By; Ally Laurentius. (M.R.N.D) – 2ND Hour.

In conclusion from the debate we had yesterday, we started off blaming the United States but in the end all of the blame goes to the French. You guys argue, that you had no part in this what so ever. Yet, you held a key role in this. You were the ones in control of are military. You were also the one’s who supplied the Interhamwe, yet the Interhamwe argue that we did everything yet we trusted france with out military.

The French were also the one’s raping and killing Tutsi women, don’t believe me? I have the article. The Interhamwe also has a key role in this too. You guys said multiple time that “we threatened their families if they didn’t assist in the killings”. Yet, the United Nations proved you all wrong when you guys have the very article saying the Interhamwe said this to other hutus, to kill there neighbors and other Tutsi’s. So don’t argue something when you guys have the proof of it being what you had said.

Also, The constant irrelevant metaphors you all used against us talking about children crying, that cannot be in comparison to the acts you all played. Such as, slaughtering millions of people with machetes and also Training the extremists, Supplying them, and also raping and killing innocent people. We have also been accused of being the ones on the radio speaking to people saying that we should all kill the Tutsi’s. Yet, the extremist’s known as the Interhamwe, had control of our radio stations because are government ties had been cut off. One last thing, to the Interhamwe who say we should have had another person in line for president after ours had been shot down, we weren’t thinking in the future we were thinking in the now about how to create peace, and also your accusations of being brainwashed is the worse argument ever, you have a choice in life. Yours was to kill thousands of people, just because they weren’t the same group as you.

  1. I completely agree that France is at fault here.
Another supporting factor is that they had trained you guys (the MRND) who had, in turn, trained the Interhamawe. So, they generally passed their knowledge down to those who did all the killing.

  4. I am here to defend my metaphors, they are completely relevant and a way to show you how to relate to a situation that you will never be in.

  5. If you had to make a choice to kill people or be killed, which would you choose? The Interahamwe was for the President. He was a Hutu and so were the Interahamwe, and we never said you should have a second President in line; that would a matter for the RPF.
